An anthology of essays, arguments, and interviews surveys Kuwait’s urban history through first and second-hand accounts of international and local architects, and features never-before released plans and photographs from the country’s Modern Era. Contributors hail from all around the world and include internationally acclaimed designers Edward Nilsson, Stig Egnell, Michael Kubo, and Ismail Rifaat; as well as influential names from the region such as Sabah Al-Rayes, Charles Haddad, AbdulAziz Sultan, and Sabah Abi-Hanna.
