The National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters in collaboration with Wujdan Creative
Community hosted a public memorial for Jehan S. Rajab on the evening of October 28,
2015 at the Qibliya School in Kuwait City. The event celebrated the diverse and
whimsical life of Jehan, writer, traveller, documentarian, and accomplished cook— who
also served as Director of the New English School and Co-Founder of the Tareq Rajab
Museum. The British Ambassador Mr. Matthew Lodge and his wife attended the event,
along with distinguished members of the British Ladies Society.
